The Opportunity
We are offering a Master Thesis project for a student interested in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence!
This opportunity is ideal for a student eager to gain hands-on industry experience while completing their thesis. Our program is designed to provide real-world exposure to our operations and services, enabling students to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting. Participants will work closely with experienced professionals, acquire industry-specific skills, and contribute to ongoing projects. We are committed to nurturing talent, and this program could be your first step toward a successful professional career.
The student will independently drive the project, under the supervision of a Technical Product Manager, and be part of the Product Development Team alongside specialists in back-end, front-end, and embedded development.
In addition to fulfilling their academic requirements, the student’s research may be repackaged and integrated into one of our company’s products, directly contributing to its success.
For the right candidate, this opportunity is also available as a general internship with a duration of approximately 5 months.

The Project
The scope of the project is to empower a Small Language Model (SLM) with domain-specific knowledge using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and verify its ability to provide actionable insights regarding electrical transformer maintenance. The knowledge base will be provided to the candidate as a collection of documents in PDF format.
Implemented in Python, the model must be able to run at a fairly-acceptable speed on a local machine with no access to Internet.

Practical Details
- The project can be conducted remotely (from home).
- The candidate is required to come to the office (Thoravej 24B, Copenhagen) only once per week, for the review.
- The candidate is welcome to work from the office more frequently if desired.
- The opening hours of the office are: Monday - Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- A company laptop will be provided to the candidate
